 The
young men and women who are attending College Bound significantly
improve their GPA by gaining the necessary skills needed to overcome
past obstacles. Subsequent to admittance, each student is evaluated
for his/her academic abilities, and an individualized curriculum
is developed. This curriculum matches the academic and career goals
of each student with his/her strengths and weaknesses in order
to ensure success.
The college experience begins with a course in
study skills and career planning. Each student is provided with
individual
tutoring and an advocate which facilitates communication between
the student and the professor. Group and/or individual study sessions
are available daily to ensure the academic progress. |
